In 2022, 40 years since the Air Force 1 was introduced, a culmination of the rich history of the silhouette was realized with the introduction of the Louis Vuitton x Nike “Air Force 1” by Virgil Abloh. Released posthumously, Abloh’s work seamlessly connected the decades of prominence of Nike’s famed sneaker. In total, Virgil Abloh designed 47 bespoke pairs of the Nike “Air Force 1” for the Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2022 show in collaboration with Nike.

Custom 'Transformers' Air Jordans Made for Mark Wahlberg

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG G8RD 'Blue Lagoon' is part of a collaboration between Nike and Gatorade inspired by four flavors of the famous sports drink. This monochromatic blue colorway is accented by orange branding, including Gatorade’s lightning bolt at the heel and a Nike Air tongue tag reminiscent of a Gatorade bottle cap. A translucent outsole reveals a full Gatorade logo underneath, while additional branding arrives via the green insole.
